Welcome to the new website of the Lowcountry Tennis Association!

The Lowcountry Tennis Association (LCTA) is an association of tennis players living in the greater Charleston, South Carolina area. Affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), USTA Southern Section, and USTA South Carolina (USTA/SC), we have over 3,400 members and teams from 29 tennis facilities participating in our activities -- and we continue to expand.   The LCTA serves tennis players in Charleston, North Charleston, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Summerville, Goose Creek, Walterboro and other area communities.

AS ONE OF THE TOP THREE TENNIS TOWNS IN AMERICA

CONGRATULATIONS! The USTA has named Charleston, SC one of the top three tennis towns in America!  The Best Tennis Town in America contest was held by the USTA and Charleston's video entry (seen above) put the lowcountry area in the finals.  After a 10 day voting period, the top three towns were announced:  Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC and Richmond, VA.  The winner will be announced at the US Open in August.  GO, CHARLESTON!

FALL REGISTRATION: Registration for the fall season is currently underway and the deadline for registering your teams is September 7th!  Match play is expected to begin during the last week of September or the first week of October. Visit our FALL LEAGUE page for details on the days and nights of plays for all levels.

FLEX LEAGUE REGISTRATION:  Registration begins August 1st for our upcoming Flex League season, and ends on August 29th.  Match play should begin on September 5th and continue until November 7th.  The following divisions will be offered:  Men's Singles (2.5, 3.0 and 3.5), Men's Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0), Women's Singles (2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0) and Women's Doubles (2.5, 3.0 and 3.5.)  Go to the Southern Flex Tennis website for more information and to register!

LOCAL EVENTS:  Mark your calendars!  The LCTA will host its annual Member Party, in conjunction with a CPTL match at Family Circle Tennis Center, on Friday, October 1st at 6 pm.  Details to come...  Visit our EVENTS page to view our online calendar and find more information.
